She enjoyed throwing rocks in the ocean, while Nama enjoyed pulling her out of and away from the ocean each time…
On this beach Sophia & Nama built a “snowman”out of rocks. Before we left the beach, we told her to knock it down. She walked right up to her snowman and knocked on his head. : )

And what’s a beach trip without a stop at the aquarium?!
Here was Sophia’s favorite exhibit. It consisted of a small fish tank with two nondescript fish swimming in it. When she pressed a button, bubbles would bubble up from the bottom of the tank. Yes, that’s it. Very exciting. (Thanks Aunt Laura for being a good sport and holding her here for what seemed like hours!)
What are people doing in the shark tank?! We wondered the same thing. After a little initial surprise, Sophia helped the divers "clean" the tank on her side of the glass with her hand as a scrubber. She is a very helpful little girl, what can I say? : )
