We have had a WONDERFUL time getting ready for Christmas this year!!! (Sophia is showing off one of her Christmas hand-me-down dresses...this is her in "Jane"; at the Christmas concert, you saw her in "Maddie".)
Dan and Kaylan gifted the families with AWESOME Advent Calendars this Christmas. Sophia has very much looked forward to the activity each day; it's really added a lot of joy to every day leading up to Christmas.
Here are some of the highlights of the calendar activities:
Making popcorn chains,
making a cotton ball snowman,
making an origami butterfly ornament,
and writing a grateful list.
Since we started the calendar when they were still here for Thanksgiving, we actually finished the entire thing today! :) I kept thinking that maybe Sophia would forget one day, helping us to finish closer to Christmas, but she didn't forget a single day!
We love you Dan and Kaylan! THANK YOU for the joy you brought our family this Advent!
