Water Party! And other various birthday celebrations

We had many birthday celebrations for Sophia (including one in Ireland! -- or "I-wind" as Sophia told people), but the first was a water party in our backyard with her friends!

The girls played with the water rocket, slip-n-slide, broke open a piñata, and played on the swings before a brief break for a pizza lunch, cake and ice cream, before fun in the hot tub!

And here is Sophia is on her 5th birthday -- the real one on August 13th! : )

And, it's become a tradition to go down the Alpine Slide on/near Sophia's birthday; so we got to do that too!

We are incredibly proud of our smart, creative, hilarious, sensitive, beautiful 5 year old, Sophia Claire!!!
