Charmed Culinary Existence

We have always been very against “kid food” at our house – no buttered pasta or chicken nuggets served here! However, at times we feel like we may have taken this a little too far. We just may have a food snob on our hands.  Check out this video we took yesterday (did you even know what hummus was, say 10 years ago?):

Among her other favorite foods and culinary experiences are:
-          Fig Bread from Eric Kaiser Patisserie (Paris)
-          Pallea from Torro Bravo
-          Our homegrown golden raspberries (not those inferior store bought red ones!)
-          Daddo’s Special Steak
-          Pink Lady Apples
-          Ken’s Margherita Pizza
-          Organic Cerrace Pasta with sauce made from San Marzano Tomatoes and Carlton Farms Bacon
-          Pom Pomegranates (by the pound)
-          Grandpa’s Traeger Smoked Ribs
-          Carnitas from Cha Cha Cha
-          Namma’s Apple Sauce
-          Greek Yogurt with our Homemade Raspberry Jam
-          Bran Muffins from Baker & Spice
-          Daddy’s Pozole
-          Tikka Masala
-          Oregon Bay Shrimp Meat
-          Lebanese Lentils & Rice

This kid could eat us out of house and home!

On the other hand, at least she does like one non-gourmet, non-organic, non-homemade thing: Bullseye Barbeque Sauce (or “moo” sauce as it’s called in our home -- Sophia knows there is a cow on the label).  She will (literally) eat on anything and everything, and sometimes, we let her.
