Pole, Pedal, Paddle...sort of

Several weeks ago, we had a super-fun three day weekend together that I think of as our pole, peddle, paddle weekend.

It started with my and Greg's last ski day of the season -- and it was perfection!!!  [Yes, that's Jesus on the left.]  That made it 25 ski days for me this season and over 160,00 feet of elevation gain -- woo hoo!

Saturday turned out to be lovely as well, so we decided to take the plunge (not literally, thank God) into Spring/Summer (even though it was still like winter with a high of maybe 40 degrees) by kayaking! It was our first time on Flathead Lake and it was a great success! [Sophia was a little disappointed that the billions of Canadian geese were too shy to eat the stale bread that she brought along, but seemed to be ok with the idea of just throwing it in the water anyway for them to enjoy later.]

Since Sunday was also lovely, we went on a hike and picnic in Big Fork.

Ok, so technically we didn't "peddle" the last day -- although the "hike" is a good biking trail -- but it was definitely fun and definitely a Montana weekend!
