We are really enjoying being in our yard this summer (when it's not raining!) and there are days when Sophia spends HOURS outside catching and watching bugs. Some are butterflies, some are "butterflies" (definitely moths, but don't try to tell her that -- she refuses to believe it!), and she had an up-close encounter with a dragonfly the other day!
[I will mention here as an aside that "Pretend Ghost Friend" and "Monarch" are Sophia's imaginary friends who (for reasons unknown) always travel in a pair.]
(We all have become big fans of the dragonfly after learning that they eat the very mosquitoes that are taking up residence in our yard big time this year!)
