Striding away on her bike!

So, we bought this strider-type bike ("The Monarch Bike") last year for Sophia's birthday, but she's never been able to ride it.  Generally, she just walked with the bike between her legs.  Whenever I would encourage her to sit on it or demonstrate how to make it faster, she would say, "I like being slow!"  The other week, Greg's coworker came over with her 4.5 year old granddaughter for dinner and was riding Sophia's bike on the driveway.  Immediately the whole thing clicked in Sophia's brain!  She asked for a turn, and strode away on her bike!  She now LOVES her bike and really enjoys practicing this new skill!
