The Adventures of Sophia and her Big Purple Cast

I have no idea how it happened.  I was watching as she ran across her room and jumped on her mattress.  Between the running and the jumping, she fractured her leg, so she got this big purple cast for 3 weeks!

For the first week of the cast we kept to low key activities, where she wouldn't have to walk much.  Here is Sophia rubbing it in our faces how she DOMINATED her butterfly memory game -- we were both actually trying!

We went on a nice walk in Big Fork and finished with drinks on the dock at Flathead Lake.

We went rafting (Sophia's cast is gortex, so we could get it wet....weird, but true!),

and we even carried Sophia up to Logan's Pass on a spectacular day with our neighbors, Carol and Rich!

We even ran into a mama and baby mountain goat on the trail!

And after that first weekend, she became slightly more mobile!  (Thankfully!)
