Christmas Concert at church:
Sophia and I have been volunteering with the elementary age kids at our church on Wednesdays. The kids are (without exception) older than she is, but she really enjoys her time with them.
I'll preface these videos by saying several things:
1) Greg and I are sitting in the very front row (not off to the side as Sophia may have you believe); 2) had I known she would be standing sideways during the whole concert, I would have fixed her wings, as they didn't look nearly as bad from the front; and 3) remember, Sophia cannot read.
Afterwards, we went down for the after-party celebration. Sophia knows Santa is not real, but wanted (at first) to sit on his lap like the other kids. Once on lap, she realizes quickly, that this one weird tradition:
(I also found out at school today she was in a heated argument with a 3-year-old at school about who was real: Santa or St. Nicholas. Oops...)

Here is the beautiful present that Greg & I will open on Christmas! Sophia is extremely proud of it -- as she should be! She made everything herself, including the wrapping paper!
We are ready for Christmas!
