One of my favorite things about spring is that our hummingbirds return...and we love to watch them.
This year one little hummingbird was forced into our window during a fight and had some trouble flying away afterwards. Sophia, Greg and I had enough time to come outside and watch it's recovery. Eventually it managed to fly about 10 feet when it landed on Greg's shoulder. It rested there several more minutes before flying away.
I couldn't be more proud of my fierce warrior.
