Dominic's Baptism Weekend

Yet another highlight of the summer, was getting to host our families for Dominic's baptism weekend!  (We missed you Laura and Nic!)

Since people arrived in shifts, we had some time with the Adams clan on Friday.  We enjoyed a sunny day at  the Flathead lake house with a stop on the way home at the brewery -- FUN and delicious!

The boys even got some fishing in!  That's Sean's sweet cast below.

The original plan was to have Dominic baptized at McDonald Lake in Glacier Park where our parish celebrates summer Masses.  However, the rain brought us indoors to the West Glacier Community Center.  While it wasn't what we had originally planned, we felt incredibly blessed at how it turned out: the Mass was intimate, joyful and love-filled.  (There was even a couple there celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary!)

Our good friend, Deacon Doug, preformed the actual baptism.

And here are Dominic's proud godparents: Sean and Kaylan!

We celebrated in style with a steak dinner at our house afterwards!

On Sunday, we brought the whole group up to Big Mountain for some zip lining and Alpine sliding!

Sophia was happy to some chalk drawing time with Maddie, Sean and Elise.  In fact, she was distraught when it rained a week later, but at least I got a picture to commemorate the fun!

The last day we got to spend the day with all of the grandparents!  We went to Whitefish Lake Lodge for drinks,

and enjoyed homemade Cioppino for an adult-only dinner!  Luxurious!

We can't THANK YOU enough everyone for sacrificing the long weekend to make the long trip out to visit us!!!!  We enjoyed each one of you immensely.  We LOVE you!!!
