Labor Day weekend

We all really wanted to get to Glacier Park one more time before the summer was over, so although the forecast for Labor Day weekend was kind of cruddy, we went for it!

Avalanche Lake was spectacular!  (And we only had to hike part of way in the rain.)  The sound of the waterfalls rushing down the bowl still filled the air, which was amazing - especially being so late in the year!  Also amazing: Sophia hiking 5.5 miles in 2.5 hours!!!

Also, also amazing: hot apple cider at Lake McDonald Lodge!
