Summer in the Flathead

Since it officially reached the freezing point last night, I think it's time to officially say goodbye to Summer 2016.  It was a great one!  I've already blogged about a lot of what happened...but there was more!

We spent lots of time in our backyard,

Sophia had a great week at Vacation Bible School,

we spent lots of time at Flathead Lake,

 Sophia worked on her photography skills,

we had an awesome day hiking to St. Mary & Virginia Falls,

(Sophia sported Greg's tank top on the hike back because she wore too many clothes hiking)

Dominic discovered the joy of driving at the grocery store,

we had a day at our local dairy farm,

Sophia & Dom enjoyed hours of fun in this Jeep (thanks to Carol & Rich!),

I hiked up Big Mountain three times,

we spent a day together at Holland Lake,

 Greg and I enjoyed a super-fun date night at McDonald Lake Lodge,

Sophia enjoyed some science,

and then there was this...

yes...in summer (July to be precise).

Goodbye summer!  We miss you already!
