Sophia's first day of school

First day of school!  First day of school!

Sophia is LOVING her new school.  She laments over the coming weekends.  She loves her teachers and she is friends with everyone in her class.  I know in Kindergarten this is usually to be expected, but given her history, together with the fact that (save for one other girl) all of the kids were together in Pre-K, I'm really happy for her and proud of her.  

Much to my dismay, she insists on being early for school (which already starts an hour earlier than Montessori) -- she takes after Greg, not me.  So the first few weeks were rough, but we're getting into the swing of things, and we have even arrived at school 17 minutes early three times this week.  (Ug.)

Yesterday was the first day that she came home saying that she gad a stressful day; she wrote her teacher about it in a letter.

I'm so so so sorry the Pre-Kers are better at lining up than we are.  Me and Ava was so so so stressed out because we do not talk in line.
