The other day, I walked into the childcare at the Wave to pick Dominic up. After not seeing him playing with the trains (strange...) I spotted him at the kids table (unsupervised), where he was in front of another child's Lunchable holding a handful of cheese in one hand and a cookie in the other.
"Cheese! Cheese!"
You've never seen a happier toddler.

For those of you who have been around our house in the Fall, you know that we have TONS of stink bugs. The season (thankfully!) is winding down, but I think we have turned Dominic into a seasoned bug knocker-downer.
Me: "Dominic, bug!" [It was about his height on the wall.]
Dominic: "Get him!" [Running over to our paper towel drawer.]
Me: Handing him a paper towel, "go get him!"
Dominic walked over to the wall, and without hesitation used the paper towel to knock the stink bug to the ground. He was so proud. Great helping, buddy!

Part of Sophia's homework for piano this week was listening to Bach. So, I typed in "Bach's most famous piece" to google, where I found a link to a YouTube video of "Toccata and Fugue in D minor" and hit "play". Dominic freaked out. It's hard for me to know whether it was the music or the old timey portrait of Bach on the screen, but he wanted nothing to do with any of it. So he hugged me in a snuggle for all six minutes. (A Dominic snuggle is a rare and precious thing, so I was sure to soak up every second!)
