Alpine Slide





 

A lot of the summer recreation ends here on Labor Day, so that weekend we tried to squeeze in a few trips down the Alpine Slide before it closes for the year.  We rode up the “special tram” Sophia called it (ski lift) and each rode down twice.  It was an absolute blast, and I was surprised how un-scared Sophia was of going fast down the slide!

Sophia and Greg even made up a song “we like to go...fast fast fast...down the mountain fast, fast, fast, not slow slow slow”.

The evening ended with a trip to Sweet Peaks where Sophia got an ice cream of her own – cupcake ice cream with sprinkles!!
