Our Neighborhood "Park"

We felt like we couldn’t officially consider ourselves as residents of Montana until we got to visit “the park” – Glacier National Park.  It was AMAZING!  We started at Logan Pass and hiked up to the Hidden Lakes on a crystal clear warm day.

Sophia said her favorite part of the hike was seeing this waterfall,

although there were also the chipmunks and ground squirrels that licked her toes,

and the mountain goats she saw up close (look to the right on top of the rocks),

or that marmot running in the meadow.  (Yes, for what was surely a super highway of a hiking trail, we saw a ton of wildlife!)  It was hard for me to pick just one highlight as well!

As it turns out, Montana is as beautiful as everyone says!

Ahhh, and it was a great end to a great day for Sophia.  : )
